Simple, plain-language terms that govern your membership with the cooperative.
Membership
Membership in Daakey Susu Loans is open to individuals and businesses in Adjiringanor, East Legon, greater Accra and surrounding communities who provide the required identification and agree to abide by these terms.
Savings and deposits
All susu contributions and fixed deposits are recorded, receipted and safeguarded by the cooperative. Withdrawal terms are as agreed at the time of account opening.
Loans and repayment
All loans are subject to credit assessment. Loan agreements set out interest rate, repayment schedule and any collateral or guarantor requirements. Members are expected to repay loans on time; late repayments may incur additional charges as agreed in the loan contract.
Dispute resolution
Any dispute will first be addressed in good faith between the member and the cooperative. Unresolved disputes will be handled in accordance with Ghanaian law.
